I’ve been bringing my cars to Colonial Tire and Auto for many years. The staff has always been welcoming and courteous. Most importantly, they can be trusted. No overpriced service or suggestions for car maintenance. I highly recommend Colonial Tire and Auto.

This was my first time using this shop for my oil change for my Alfa Romeo Stelvio since the location in Raleigh closed. Let me just say that my appointment was for 2pm, my car was ready at 2:35pm. The gentleman at the front desk ( I think Matt ) was fantastic. The overall experience and price will keep me coming back.

Used them for years with several different cars. I find them to be honest and reliable. Front desk has always been a pleasure to deal with. I would never use anyone else.

Trustworthy Auto Shop in the RTP Area I switched from dealership servicing to Colonial Tire & Automotive about 2 years ago and have had a great experience ever since. The staff are courteous, honest, and never try to oversell. Matt has been especially great to work with. I’ve gone there for state inspections, tire replacements, and regular service. They also price match tires with big retailers. Definitely recommend them to anyone in the RTP area looking for trustworthy auto service.

My scheduled service for an oil change and tire rotation was completed timely while I waited. The mechanic found I had a dirty engine air filter and replaced it a very resonable cost.

I urgently needed my car inspected for registration, and Steve went above and beyond by getting me in quickly and even taking care of a much needed oil change at the same time. Despite how hectic things can be around the holidays, I was impressed with how efficiently everything was handled. I was in and out in a very reasonable amount of time, and the level of professionalism and courtesy made the experience even better. Steve provided outstanding service, and I also want to recognize the young man who assisted as well, I believe his name was Matt. He was equally professional, considerate, and a pleasure to deal with. You run an excellent, well organized operation, and I’m genuinely glad I chose to come in. I loved the atmosphere at Conional Tire! 🙌 They’ve got recliners and even a computer table—perfect if you need to work from home or just nap while your car gets fixed. Plus, all the eating spots are within walking distance, and you can even hop on the bus to the mall. What really stood out is the service. I told them I needed to be in the carpool line at a certain time, and they made sure my car was done before then. I also trusted them—he felt super honest. When I mentioned my budget, he focused on fixing the most important things first. Great shop, and everyone was so friendly!

Had a check engine light that was buggin me for a couple of weeks. Finally I took to my shop and they found the issue in less than 10 minutes and repaired in less than 15. Craig amde sure I was out and on my way. Thank you all! See you soon, almost time for an oil change. George

Locally on business that takes great care of their customers. I first went to this place because I needed my car inspected and I was really impressed with how clean and friendly the place was. I remembered them today when I woke up to a flat tire. They were able to get me in right away when they opened. I had my tire inspected, nail removed, and patched up ready to go in 30 minutes for a very fair price. The waiting area was clean with comfy couches. They do all sorts of work here and I will be using them for my future mechanical needs.

Great service as always. They even came in on a Saturday to finish up my vehicle. Thanks again for your excellent service.

I dropped in with a loose wheel and without an appointment. All I needed was a single tire flipped on its rim. Removed, remounted. Simple. I got exactly what I asked for, and at a fair price. Dropped off the wheel at 1, promised it by 3, and it was there and ready as promised. Also everyone in the front office is friendly and helpful. So that's a bonus. And I learned a couple of new things about Michelin tires as well, thanks to Steve. Many years ago, so long ago, I went there in a jam as it was out of the way, and I think I had a successful visit. Now it's not so out of the way for me, and I think I'll be back.

My husband and I have had nothing but positive experiences here. Mr. Morgan is a very knowledgeable and kind auto mechanic. His floor manager, Steve, is just the same. He has helped save us thousands of dollars in car related issues. He knows many workarounds, solutions, and other helpful tips. Great customer service! Would highly recommend.

My Mazda has a tire pressure sensor that likes to cry wolf. It will ping and stay on for days despite everything being fine. Colonial Tire has been very nice when I have driven in to ask if maybe I am losing my mind and the pressure is wrong despite my having measured it. They replaced my tires two yrs ago, no problem. Today they quickly removed a 3 inch nail, patched the tire, and had me back on the road before I'd settled into the waiting area.

Colonial Tire & Automotive is the best! I am not a native of the area and was having a hard time finding someone to fix my truck. My friend recommended Colonial Tire & Automotive and Tyler was so helpful and nice(cute too). They fixed my truck and at a price that I could afford. He was definitely accommodating with pickup and that sent me over the top. I live in Raleigh and will come back to Durham anytime to have any work done. Thank you CT&A

I got unexpected news that my front tire had a very unsafe bulge in it. My dad recommended Colonial Tire and I worked with Tyler and his customer service was amazing! Got me in the very next morning with two new tires and got me in and out in under an hour. I can’t recommend this shop enough!! I live in Raleigh and will be happy to drive to Durham and use this shop as my new go to place to service my car for all needs!

I have gone to Colonial Tire a few times for various needs (state inspections, new tires, etc) for both my husband and I’s cars. I am able to get in same day or close to it and charges/work are always as explained. I have had difficult times in the past with mechanics and attempted to give me the run around but this is NEVER the case here. I am not upsold on ridiculous work or parts. I feel so comfortable coming here that I have opted in when my husband’s car needed looked at. I could not rave enough about this place!
